A Liquid Facelift with Dr. Farole
A liquid facelift is an ideal procedure for patients who want to improve their appearance without having to undergo traditional surgery. The first part of the liquid facelift process is a thorough initial consultation. Dr. Farole analyzes the face, talks about the patient’s goals, and comes up with a customized procedure plan. He chooses an injectable, such as Botox, and one or more facial fillers based on the patient’s desires and goals. Fillers he commonly uses include Juvederm, Radiesse, Belotero, and Versa.
Dr. Farole performs the procedure on an outpatient basis. First, a topical numbing cream is applied to the patient’s skin to reduce discomfort. Next, the injectable and filler medications are injected into areas of the face the patient wishes to improve. Last, ice is placed on the skin to reduce swelling. Total procedure time is usually only 30 minutes. Patients may return to work and normal activities after their procedure. Many patients find having the procedure during their lunch break very convenient. In order to maximize results, Dr. Farole may recommend a follow-up procedure at a later date.
Results
Results can be as subtle or dramatic as the patient wants. Final results include the following:

Post-procedure swelling must go all the way down—usually in a few days or less – before true results are visible. Depending on the type of filler used, results usually last 1-2 years. They can be maintained by having a second procedure.
