I was a chairside dental assistant for 10 years. During that time, I assisted a General Practitioner, an Endodontist, and a Prosthodontist before joining the practice of Dr. Anthony Farole in the summer of 2013. I come to work not only for my livelihood but also because I take pride in my commitment to our patients. I derive a great deal of satisfaction helping improve the health and lives of our patients in many ways. I recognize some patients have anxiety and or fears about receiving treatment. I do my best to be compassionate and understanding. This helps our patients a great deal in relieving some of their fears. My career as a dental assistant has allowed for a smooth transition into treating patients requiring surgery on their teeth, jaws, and face. There was and is overlap in the training and experience to both the fields of dentistry and surgery of the mouth and face. I treat patients the way that I would like to be treated or how I would like my son to be treated. This has allowed me to serve our patients in the most efficient and compassionate way. Safety is always our biggest concern as is excellence in care. My feelings and professionalism are shared with my co-workers and certainly, Dr. Farole has set the standard for excellence in patient care. We are a caring team.
I attended both Neumann University and Philadelphia Community College and have been working as a surgical assistant for five years, and previously as a certified medical assistant for 3 years. This has provided me excellent and important knowledge of the medical and surgical fields.
I am fluent in both Spanish and Portuguese which gives our office the additional opportunity to seamlessly communicate with those patients who only speak these languages. I welcome every patient with a warm and friendly smile and make sure that each patient is as comfortable as possible. I make sure that every patient’s experience with us is nothing less than outstanding, even if it includes playing their favorite music, to something as simple as holding someone’s hand. Our office teamwork is outstanding.
Office Operations Coordinator
“I have been working in the medical field as an office assistant, procedural assistant, and medical secretary for 25 years. Our office staff is the most caring staff I have worked with in my career. We want our patients to feel welcome and at ease. I try to do everything I can to foster that feeling.”
Office Financial Manager
“I have a Bachelors degree in Accounting from Temple University. Prior to joining the staff with Dr. Farole, I worked for CIGNA Insurance Company for 12 years as an Accounting Supervisor. My experience and expertise in the Insurance industry have made my transition from the Corporate to the Private sector very efficient and applicable.
There are numerous reasons why I love coming to work each and every day. The biggest reward is when I know I’ve made a difference in someone’s life. One of the joys of working with Dr. Farole is knowing that he loves and excels in his profession. He has great compassion and understanding of his patients. That passion is contagious and reflected in our friendly office environment.”
“I am a graduate of Wilkes College (University) with a bachelors in science degree. I have over 30 years experience in Oral and Maxillofacial surgery both on the clinical side and working in the insurance industry. This combination of experience and training maximizes my benefit to our practice both from a clinical patient perspective role and also to help patients maximize their deserved medical insurance benefits.
I have worked previously as an operating room nurse at Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia and as a medical-surgical nurse in the Jefferson University Health Care System. Recently I joined Dr. Farole’s Cosmetic Facial and Oral Surgery Center. I thoroughly enjoy helping to provide my assistance with Dr. Farole in his facial cosmetic practice. The improvements in self-image our patients enjoy are very rewarding to me.”
