How Long Does Botox Last?

BOTOX® has been successfully giving patients the ability to soften and smooth harsh wrinkles and facial creases for over 10 years. It still remains one of the most popular non-surgical cosmetic procedure asked for today, and for a good reason. BOTOX® is minimally-invasive, has zero downtime, and provides lasting results.

Your BOTOX® appointment can be done in as little as one 10-minute in-office visit. One of our highly-skilled BOTOX® injectors will insert the fine needle into predetermined muscles. Tiny amounts of botulinum toxin relax muscles by blocking nerve impulses leaving you with a younger, well-rested appearance.

The procedure is very well tolerated for the majority of patients. After your BOTOX® appointment, you are able to immediately return to your routine daily activities without delay. Makeup can be applied directly after your procedure.

In most cases, results from BOTOX® take about 3-5 days to become evident. Full results will be noticeable in approximately 10-14 days.

As your body naturally absorbs BOTOX®, your results will gradually wear off. It can take multiple treatments spaced several months apart for your facial features to become conditioned to BOTOX®. Each following treatment typically lasts longer than the previous.

BOTOX® is FDA-cleared to last 3-months. However, in clinical trials, many patients report their BOTOX® treatment lasting as long as 4-6 months. Touch-up BOTOX® procedures are safe and effective as needed.

At your initial consultation, Dr. Farole will perform a complete facial assessment to determine if and where BOTOX® may be right for you. In a cosmetic setting, BOTOX® can treat a wide variety of concerns including; forehead lines, Crow’s Feet, smile/laugh lines, bunny lines, frown lines between brows, and more.
