Do you have sagging eyelids? Do you constantly feel as though you look tired or fatigued, even though you’ve been getting all of your beauty sleep? If that’s the case, you may be a good candidate for a blepharoplasty procedure, otherwise commonly known as an eyelid lift.
All About the Upper Eyelids
If you have sagging eyebrows and hooded eyelids, you may be a good candidate for an upper blepharoplasty (upper eyelid lift). This surgical procedure involves your surgeon making incisions to access the upper eyelid muscles; these incisions could be placed along the lash line, within the eyebrows, or even within the hairline. Your surgeon will rearrange drooping eyelid muscles, as well as remove excess fat and skin from the upper eyelid area. Patients often find that this improves their field of vision, especially peripherally, providing functional improvement in addition to the cosmetic benefits of the procedure.

The Lowdown on the Lower Eyelids
If you have heavy undereye bags or drooping skin underneath your eyes, you may be a good candidate for a lower blepharoplasty (lower eyelid lift). This surgical procedure focuses on correcting issues along the lower eye area. To do this, your surgeon will make an incision within the lower lash line, which allows for the muscles to be adjusted and excess under-eye fat to be removed.
If you’re still not sure which blepharoplasty procedure is right for you, your board-certified surgeon can discuss your options, as well as what results you can expect to see with either or both procedures.
Dr. Anthony Farole is the best. I came in very scared and afraid. Dr. Farole and his wonderful staff were very patient with me and helped calm me down. They reassured me that i would be fine and took very good care of me. I felt no pain and the procedure went very smooth. Thank you so much for a job well done!
